YEREVAN, November 19 — Republic of Armenia is flatly against contrasting integration processes taking place inside the CIS and EurAsEC to the relations with Iran, stated Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan at the meeting with members of the Club of Editors-in-Chief of the CIS, Baltic States and Georgia on Friday

«If we`re interested in integration processes inside CIS it doesn`t mean we are not interested in developing economic ties with Iran», said the Premier.

Sargsyan stressed that the American and European colleagues don`t like Armenia`s stance as «they apply strict sanctions against Iran and it strikes the Armenian economy».

«They perfectly aknowledge it, and they also realize that we have no other way, we ought to create good relations with our neigbor. We have no right to contrast our friendly relations with Iran to our strategic partnership with Russia. It`s wrong and unwise, so we must view these relations as supplementing each other and not mutually exclusive. It is our stance» – concluded the Head of Armenian Government.
