Eight European countries, including Armenia, will fight for a spot in the B Division, said Armenian Basketball Federation President Hrachya Rostomyan to ArmSport.am.

“Of course, that will be a great event for our basketball [sport] and the next stimulus in the development of women’s basketball in Armenia. After Hatis’ successes, it’s our women’s team’s turn, who has a good chance with the support of its own spectators of conquering a pass to the B Division,” noted Rostomyan.

The tournament will most likely take place in Mika stadium, where three EuroCup games took place this year.
