Documentary Film About Contribution of Armenians to Screen in Yerevan

YEREVAN (Novosti-Armenia), May 6—The premiere of the documentary film “From Ararat to Zion” will take place on Wednesday in Yerevan. This film is nominated for eight international awards.

“On May 12, after the world premiere, which will be held in the UK, the film will start a journey around the world. It will also be shown on the biggest TV channels of the US, Europe and Russia,” said a press release by “VEM Media.”

The documentary film “From Ararat to Zion” tells about the role and contribution of Armenian people in human history, about the mission of Christianity and about the spiritual presence of Armenians in the heritage of the Holy Land since the 4th century AD.

The original film was shot in English, and voice-over is read by the Hollywood actor Aidan Quinn. The soundtrack is performed by a well-known singer of the modern world cinema Lisa Gerrard.

The film was made by the director Edgar Baghdasaryan and it was written by the priest Mesrop Adamian who is also the producer of the film.
