Tender for Participation in ‘Eastern Partnership’ Competition Announced

YEREVAN (News.am), April 24—A tender for participation in the competition in the cultural program “Eastern Partnership” will be announced at the end of 2010. The program is financed by the European Neighborhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI). The annual report, published by the ENPI site EuropeAid, says that the amount of the financing is 9 million euro.
The purpose of this program is to support the role of culture in the stable development of the region and to promote the regional cooperation among government agencies, civil society and cultural organizations, foundations and scientific organizations in the region of the Eastern Partnership and the EU.
Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine and Belarus have been participating in the EU program “Eastern Partnership” since 2009.
This tender will present grants for projects of regional cooperation that cover the entire field of culture, including cinema, audiovisual arts and modern art. The program will also support projects on preserving cultural heritage.
