YEREVAN (Aysor.am), April 22–The Armenian ambassador to China Armen Sarkisian informed that the Armenian exhibition hall in Shanghai “EXPO 2010,” which represents a model of the World City–a new residential module of the future and a comfortable residence for world citizens–will give everyone an opportunity to participate in the establishment of that city himself.
“In our presentation the city of the future is a space of interaction between civilizations and cultures, where national quarters of different peoples of the world will be located,” said Sarkisian in his interview with the Chinese news agency “Xinhua.”
According to him, the prototypes of different objects in these quarters will be designed in the form of models and presentation forms, like architectural ideas and approaches for the discussions of the visitors of the exhibition. The discussions will be organized in a way that many people take part in it, both the visitors of the Armenian exhibition hall and also people via the internet.
Ideas that are raised during the discussions will pass a special selection process, and the best ones will be implemented in the form of new models, finding their places in the exhibition hall.
“This will make the Armenian exhibition hall lively and interactive,” Sarkisian said. “The uniqueness of the Armenian exhibiting strategy will result in the creation of the World City in Shanghai during the EXPO-2010.”
