Armenia Produces 174,200 Tons Of Grain
Sep 4th, 2010 | Category: EconomyYEREVAN, September 3–Armenia produced 174,200 tons of grain from January to July, 2010, which was the same amount in 2009, the National Statistical Service of the Republic of Armenia revealed.
At the same time, nearly a two-time increase has been recorded in the production of cereals: only 112,700 tons of cereals were produced in 2009, and in 2010 the production made up 226,000 tons.
According to the same statistics, a 18.4 percent increase was recorded in flour production from January to July, compared to the same period in 2009. Flour production totalled 85,500 thousand tons thus far in 2010.
