YEREVAN (Tert.am), March 26– TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design), predominately known as a website with performances and talks from around the world on a number of topics available for free video viewing, will be coming to Yerevan this fall.

An independently organized TED event (termed “TEDx”) will focus on topics related to Armenia. Talks will take place on September 25, 2010 (location to be announced).

According to the TEDx Yerevan web site, “TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is call TEDx Yerevan, where x=independently organized TED event. At our TEDx Yerevan event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.”
