“The human factor in the intergovernmental relations is very important,” said the head of Russian Orthodox Church.

“And when the highest authorities take part in this dialog, it becomes even more important for the countries and people,” Patriarch Cyril said.
He thanked the President of Armenia for the opportunity to meet and to discuss various issues of bilateral dialog in the presence of the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II.
“I want to discuss with you the issues of the cooperation between the countries in the international spiritual sphere with great pleasure,” said Sarkisian.
He also said that Russia is the strategic ally and the reliable partner of Armenia, and bilateral relations between the two countries are developing appropriately.
