YEREVAN (Panorama.am), March 9–Armenian President Serge Sarkisian sent a letter of condolence today to the President of Turkey Abdullah Gul for the disastrous earthquake in Turkey, the President’s press office reported.

On behalf of the Armenian people and himself, President Sarkisian extended sincere condolences to the President of Turkey and the relatives of the earthquake victims.

A 6.0 magnitude earthquake that shook eastern Turkey on March 8 has claimed 51 lives thus far.
