Armenian and Russian Filmmakers To Shoot Joint Film

YEREVAN (Novosti-Armenia), March 5— Armenian and Russian filmmakers plan to shoot a joint film devoted to the 150 anniversary of the great Russian writer Anton Pavlovich Chekhov’s birth.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Diaspora, issues related to the scenario and possible funding of the Armenian-Russian venture were discussed during the meeting of Armenia’s Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan with People’s Artist of Armenia Vladimir Msryan, film director and screenwriter Armen Mkrtchyan (Ronov) and producer Hovhannes Grigoryan.
