YEREVAN (Panorama.am), March 3–”Creating a wider national network is defined by the ‘procedure of forming an e-society in the Republic of Armenia,’” Vache Kirakosyan, the director of high and information technologies department of the Economy Ministry said at a news conference on Wednesday.
“It’s going to be a wide network and will be invested until the end of the year. Our mission is to provide 100 megabyte Internet to almost every household,” he said.
Armen Grigoryan, the President of the Committee to support development of information technologies said that currently they are trying to combine Internet providers.
“We have serious problems with the international network. If we found a national network that is, of course, an advanced step, it would be better to create international-national network communication, and to fix our network in an international stable web network,” Hovhannes Musayelyan, the president of Synopsis Armenia said.
