RASKO Will Provide Services Of Health Insurance In Armenia RASKO Will Provide Health Insurance In ArmeniaYEREVAN (ARKA), March 3–Armenian RASKO insurance company will start providing health insurance services, CEO Ara Karian told journalists on Tuesday.

According to him, the company owns a license for the provision of health insurance and plans to introduce the service within the next two to three months.

“The contracts with various medical institutions, which have already been signed, will allow us to provide a wide range of services and a possibility of choices for customers,” said Karian.

He also informed that the company will develop a package of three proposals, which will vary both in price and a range of services.

In particular, the possibility of insurance services to the emergency medical service, which has certain restrictions, will be more affordable.

He said that another package implies higher rates and, therefore, a wider range of services. It will also provide for the VIP-package taking into account all costs, including heart surgery.

The insurance company RASKO has been serving the Armenian market since 2004. The founder of the company is ZAO “International Business Center.”

As of last December 31, the 2009 Assets of LLC “Rasco” amounted to 1.7 billion dram, the total liabilities, 191.9 million dram, and the total capital, 1.6 billion dram. The authorized capital of the company makes 968 million dram. The net income for 2009 amounted to 339.5 million dram.
