YEREVAN (Novosti Armenia), February 8 — The Honorable Consulate of Armenia will open in Der Zor, Syria, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.

On February 9-11 the Armenian delegation, headed by the Armenian deputy minister of foreign affairs, Arman Kirakosyan, will leave for Syria on an official visit to take part in the political discussions between the heads of the foreign offices of Armenia and the Syrian Arab Republic. They will also take part in the opening ceremony of the Honorable Consulate in Der Zor.
