Gregory Dobrygin Wins Silver Bear At Berlin Film Festival

YEREVAN (ARKA), February 23—Gregory Dobrygin known to the Armenian audience for his work in the film “Akhtamar,” which was launched by the cognac brand Ararat, won a “Silver Bear” at the 60th International Film Festival in Berlin. This message was reported by the press service of the Yerevan Brandy Factory.
The Russian film “How I Spent This Summer” by Alexei Popogrebsky won two awards. One of the prizes of this film went to Paul Kostomarov for Best Cinematography, and the other prize went to the actors playing the main roles — Gregory Dobryginu and Sergei Puskepalis.
Among the winners of the festival were Roman Polanski’s film “The Ghost Writer,” as well as the picture “Honey” by Turkish director Semih Kaplanoglu.
The Berlin International Film Festival has been held annually since 1951 in Germany. The main prize is called “Golden Bear.”
