Armenian Economy Increased by 4 Percent in January-July

YEREVAN, August 23– The GDP in Armenia increased by 4 percent in January- July compared with the same period last year, reports the National Statistical Service of the Republic.
According to statistics, in January-July compared with the same period in 2009 an increase of 7.4 percent in consumer prices was fixated. At the same time, during the reporting period, this indicator increased by 3.7 percent compared to December 2009 .
Manufacturing prices in Armenia during the reported period increased by 30.3 percent compared with the same period in 2009.
According to the state budget, GDP growth in Armenia in 2010 is expected to be at 1.2 percent.
