YEREVAN, August 20–Good news for ArmenTel (trade mark Beeline) customers. From now on, the roaming service for the subscribers of the telecommunications company’s postpaid billing system will automatically be connected in Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh).

“Now the subscribers of the universal operator will not have to think about activating roaming services before going to the Nagorno Karabakh Republic,” said Igor Klimko, the General Director of ArmenTel.

Earlier, the activation of the roaming service cost 15,000 dram (about $40) for business partners and 30,000 dram (about $80) for individuals.

To avoid the unauthorized usage of the roaming service while in the territory of Armenia or near the border with Artsakh, ArmenTel advises its subscribers to choose the Beeline network manually via their phone’s menu.
