Real Estate Cadastre of Armenia and Rosreestr A Memorandum of Cooperation Armenia, Russia To Sign Cadastre Memorandum of CooperationYEREVAN (Novosti-Armenia), February 17—The Real Estate Cadastre of Armenia and the Russian Federal Service of the State Registration of Cadastre and Cartography (Rosreestr) intend to pass a memorandum of cooperation.

The Information and Public Relations Department (I & PRD) of the State Cadastre of Armenia reported that this agreement was reached during the Armenian delegation’s visit to Moscow on February 15-17. The delegation was headed by the Chairman of State Committee of the Real Estate Cadastre of Armenia, Yervand Zakharyan.

According to the report, Zakharyan had an official meeting with the head of the Federal Service of the State Registration of Cadastre and Cartography, Sergei Vasilyev. During the meeting the sides discussed the issues of cadastre, property registration and the establishment of the geodetic, cartographic and geographic bases in the framework of bilateral cooperation.

The parties also discussed a number of issues related to the multilateral cooperation within the framework of the Interstate Council on geodesy, cartography, cadastre and the remote sensing of the CIS countries.

It was also stated that the Armenian delegation had an opportunity to get acquainted with the activities of the organization and the units, administered by the Federal Service of the State Registration of Cadastre and Cartography.

“Yervand Zakharyan invited the Russian party to get acquainted with the system of the real estate cadastre of the unified state,” read the report.
