YEREVAN (Newsarmenia.ru) February 9 — On Monday the Minister of Defense of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan met with the representatives of over 20 Armenian organizations of France, the press service of the Ministry of Defense informs. The minister left for a five-day official visit to France on Monday.

During the meeting the minister  presented the 18-year  history of the Armenian Armed Forces,  noted the importance and the role of diaspora in the formation of the Armenian army and mentioned reforms made in the Armed Forces of Armenia.

Ohanyan also  answered the questions of Armenian diasporan representatives and  discussed prospects of the expansion of the role of the diaspora in the formation of the Armenian Armed Forces.
