YEREVAN, August 10 — The fifth All-Armenian educational conference organized by Education and Science Ministy of Republic of Armenia launched in Yerevan. The event features 150 participants from 25 countries.

The opening ceremony held at Arno Babajanyan concert hall was attended by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, Diaspora Minister Hranush Hakobian and Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Sergey Manassian.

The Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan welcoming the guests read the message of Armenian President Sargsyan to the participants of 5th All-Armenian conference. «The Republic of Armenia as the homeland of all Armenians has the duty and responsibility not only towards its citizens but world wide spread Armenians. By restoring Armenian statehood Armenian preservation issues ceased to be concern of only Diaspora organizations.

We attach great importance to the holding of such conferences: the work done in the direction of Diaspora educational institutions is of less effective format. The century dated march of Armenian language and Armenians is ongoing especially thanks to your efforts and wishes. I wish you strength and energy while carrying out your patriotic mission.», reads the President`s message.

The conference will last til August 14.
