YEREVAN, June 13 — A festive march dedicated to the Day of State Symbols of the Republic of Armenia, followed by a concert and air show will be held in Yerevan on Friday, told Deputy Minister of Culture Artur Poghossian.
«Nearly 6000 young people from Yerevan, districts of Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh, representing 38 student associations and non-governmental organizations will participate in the event», stated Poghossian.
According to him the march will start at 19.30 from Matenadaran, pass through Mashtots and Amirian streets reaching its end at the Republic Square.
The march will be accompanied by the performances of brass bands of Armed Forces, Police and Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as dance and song ensembles. The march will be concluded by demonstration flight of air crafts of RA Ministry of Defense.
The aim of the event is to bring up younger generation in respect towards the Armenian State Symbols and to increase the level of patriotism in our society, said Poghossian.
In his words 11 million AMD (26.6 thousand USD) were allocated by the state structures and non-governmental organizations to hold the event.
