«Last Bell» Rings out for Armenian School Students

YEREVAN, May 25 — Today more than 4000 Armenian school students are celebrating the end of their studies in a traditional ceremony called the «Last Bell» that has rung out in 1,400 schools of the Republic of Armenia.
Yerevan Mayor Taron Margarian congratulated the graduates on the occasion. ‘’The last call is a unique chance for each of you to sum up the knowledge gained at schools. I am sure the memories connected with your teachers, classmates and the festive atmosphere will accompany you throughout your life.
Although the bell symbolizes the farewell, nevertheless it also symbolizes a new beginning and new perspectives», reads the Mayor`s message.
A number of events is scheduled to be held on the occasion. At 6:00 pm Yerevan time, Yerevan’s Liberty Square will host a five-hour festive concert which will end in a firework.
