Arthur Baghdasaryan Received Russian Vice-Secretary Of National Security Council

YEREVAN, January 27 — Secretary of the National Security Council of the Republic of Armenia Arthur Baghdasaryan received the delegation headed by Valentin Sobolev, the Vice-Secretary of the National Security Council of Russia.
A range of issues included in the 2012-2013 cooperation programs between the two parties were discussed. They particularly touched upon the activities to be implemented in the sphere of border security in regard to the modernization and restoration of border posts and the establishment of a training unit to retrain border guards.
Issues concerning the joint programs in the field of emergency situations and cooperation in the sphere of military production as well as the initiative of establishment of CSTO information centers were discussed.
Baghdasaryan noted that the activities are being effectively implemented by the target date. In his turn, Sobolev noted the high cooperation level between the two security councils of the two countries and expressed hope that all the programs would be fully implemented in due time.
